Job Title: Account Executive

Fide Freight is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for acquiring new clients, onboarding accounts, and managing a book of business from initial contact through long-term partnership. The ideal candidate is comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes full ownership of their sales pipeline and client relationships. A mindset of continuous improvement, accountability, and radical transparency is essential for success and advancement in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close targeted accounts through cold calls, emails, and meetings
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a consistent outbound cadence
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying new contacts and uncovering growth opportunities
  • Lead and coordinate RFQs/RFPs to ensure client needs and service standards are met
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-specific issues
  • Assign and delegate workloads to the operations team as needed
  • Manage and escalate issues while ensuring timely resolution
  • Support and coach operations team members when required
  • Maintain daily communication with clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Stay informed on market trends, seasonality, and industry updates
  • Meet or exceed all daily/weekly/monthly metrics
  • Maintain proficiency across all company software and platforms
  • Represent the company professionally with clients, colleagues, and leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of sales experience (freight brokerage or logistics experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
